qTest is a cloud-based quality management suite that covers all aspects of software development testing process. qTest provides a highly flexible and collaborative working space for the testing team to manage requirement, planning test execution, tracking defects, to generating quality reports.
I worked on qTest project as Lead Designer. I worked closely with Product Manager and CEO to analyze application requirements and turned them into user graphic interface to help tester collect testing artifacts, assign tasks to other members and track progress.
qTest comes with pre-built reports that offer useful insight on projects, such as quality, progress, and productivity.
In addition, qTest offers custom report capabilities that enable you to effectively track and assess team activities.
qTest automatically synchronizes a project’s schedule in the test cycle management module, which helps improve software test planning accuracy and convenience. The test cycle, and its associated sub-structures,
such as test suite and test run, can be configured to have common properties, such as environments, testers, releases, and testing type. Further, simply by copying and pasting, you can reuse these structures in multiple releases.
qTest import wizard allows you to map fields and quickly and effectively import test cases from your existing Excel spreadsheets or test management solution to qTest.
qTest provides a simple, intuitive way to organize test cases and to have them automatically synchronized with your project’s requirement structure.
